I have had the pleasure to work with John and Kelleen Killough through
their
multi-line claims adjusting business, AFG Claims, for many years. What
started as a routine relationship with an independent adjusting company
has,
overtime, evolved into a great personal and professional relationship.
The
incredible work ethic they demonstrate and their moral bearing in their
representation of our company when handling our insured's claims is in a
class by itself. I have never been more pleased with any independent
vendors
assisting in our claims operations during my 32 years in the claims
industry. I can unequivocally and without hesitation recommend them to
any
company needing independent adjusting or appraisl services.

Re: Lake Guntersville Yacht Club, Alabama
To Whom It May Concern:
As Commodore of LGYC it was my pleasure to work with John Killough of AFG Claims Service after our April 13, 2009 wind storm. Our club was hit with extremely high winds early in the morning of that day and both of our covered slips broke loose and were blown about a half mile down the slough. There were approximately 67 boats in the slips at the time and we discovered later that we had suffered over a million dollars worth of damage, not including damage to our members’ boats. Thankfully no one was hurt, although we did have several families aboard at the time of the storm. We had no sinkings or fuel spills but we did have many boats damaged by the slips collapsing on them.
I called our yacht club insurance company hot line early that morning and was still waiting on a call back when John arrived. He was the first insurance adjuster on the scene and he was by far the most helpful and courteous of all those I dealt with over the next few weeks. While John and Boat US did have more vessels insured at the club than any other company and I did deal with other insurers, his experience and advice were extremely valuable to me and our members. The club’s insurance company was terribly slow in responding, but John led me through options and helped get us going with the recovery process before we ever heard from our insurer. The Board of Governors of Lake Guntersville Yacht Club voted unanimously to give our sincere thanks and appreciation to John Killough, without whose help we would have had a much slower recovery.
Sincerely,
